Supporting Oz Harvest

$2 FROM EVERY ‘NUTRITION BEYOND THE PLATE’ TICKET IS DONATED TO OZ HARVEST

Oz Harvest is Australia’s leading food rescue organisation. Their fleet of yellow vans are on the road everyday saving good surplus food from ending up in landfill and delivering it to charities that help feed people in need across the nation.

Every $1 donated to OzHarvest allows them to deliver 2 meals to those in need.

Of course, every meal delivered also means that good food is diverted from landfill. Food going into landfill is a huge contributor to dangerous greenhouse gas emissions, with 10% of all emissions impacting climate change coming from food waste.

At a time when the rising cost of living has seen the need for food relief significantly increase, your support is more valuable than ever.

On any given day, over half a million households in Australia are struggling to put food on the table, with those with children are being hardest hit.

Additionally, OzHarvest reports that throughout their network of recipient charities, 30% of the people seeking support are doing so for the first time.

When you book your Soulful Long Lunch ticket, Evoke will donate $2 to Oz Harvest. As a result you will be donating 4 meals to those in need. You will also have the opportunity to donate additional funds to our amazing charity when you book online.
