Birthday Celebration - Case Study

Our client was planning to celebrate his 80th Birthday in style and he, along with his family, were seeking something a little outside of the box. We were thrilled to assist with the design of a unique celebration event, along with all the elements of planning and the delivery. We suggested a Sunshine Coast Foodie Fiesta concept for the planned 80 guests, which the client loved! We erected a sperry sail marquee and styled it in a relaxed rustic, yet elegant lounge setting. Two small yurt tents accompanied the sperry venue, to house our food stations. The cuisine offerings included street food such as tacos & sliders, paella, Japanese yakatori and sushi, sashimi and fresh oysters. The guests enjoyed interacting with the chefs and experiencing the different cuisines.
A vintage caravan serviced the event as the bar and there was plenty of outdoor seating areas created so guests could take in the beautiful scenery of the Noosa hinterland. Dessert canapes were served, which complemented a gelato cart serving bespoke Sunshine Coast flavours. Of course a tiered birthday cake topped off the celebrations! A live jazz band entertained the guests as they mingled, ate, drank and celebrated the milestone 80 years!
